HOMEWORK
The homework listed below is for the Summer Holiday and is listed under your child's new year group (ie. If your child is currently Y1, you need to look at the Y2 homework set).
YR - Share some books by Michael Rosen
Y1 - Read books by Julia Donaldson and discuss what the children like about them.
Y2 - Read books by Shirley Hughes and discuss what the best bits are.
Y3 - read as many books as possible by Anthony Browne and keep a list of them.
Y4 - Read as many books as possible by Quentin Blake and keep a list of them.
Y5 - Read as many Roald Dahl Books and discuss the characters.
Y6 - read or re-read as many Roald Dahl books as possible. Give each book a star rating our of 5. Visit places in London to familiarise the children with the City. Research the Roman settlement of Londonium. Remember to equip yourself with a small pencil case with a few basic items.
