Admissions for September 2024

If your child's birth date is between 1 September 2019 and 31st August 2020 they can start school in September 2024.

Online Applications for admission to school in September 2024 closed on 15th January 2024.

National Primary Offer Day is 16th April 2024.  Once you receive your offer by email, you will be contacted within two weeks by Holly Trees with information and dates of meetings to prepare your child for starting school.

We have a Parent Information Meeting on Tuesday 4th June at 6.30 pm in the School Hall - we recommend as this is an information meeting that you do not bring your pre-school child to this meeting.

We have two 'Stay and Play' Sessions on Friday 14th June and Friday 28th June in the afternoon for your children to visit the school and become familiar with the classes and teaching staff - more information regarding these sessions will be sent to you in your welcome pack. 

In September, this is how we will run our induction programme for the children:

•   Tuesday 3rd to Friday 6th September 2024:  

Home Visits by your child's class teacher and teaching assistant.

•   Monday 9th to Wednesday 11th September 2024:

The children will either attend the morning or afternoon session (so we have 15 children each session which   really helps with settling them)

•   Thursday 12th to Tuesday 17th September 2024: 8.45am – 12.45pm

All children to attend the morning session and stay for lunch before being collected. (Parents will be invited to join their child for lunch on either Monday 16^th or Tuesday 17^th September at 11.45am - details will be sent out to you nearer the time)

•   Wednesday 18th September 2024: 

All children start full time school – (8.45am – 3.10pm)
